Grade loops
After Pre-K, MTW employs Looping for all six years of elementary school grouping students of the same age together for two years with the same teacher. At Midtown West the loops are K/1, 2/3 and 4/5. This model, cherished by the MTW community, allows for a deep level of cohesive unity
within each classroom as it provides consistent academic standards and expectations across grades.
