Midtown West Fundraising
Hello Midtown West Families!
Midtown West is not only a wonderful school but a wonderful community. This community has worked together for many years to raise money that supplements programs and offerings for our children. The Fundraising Committee is hard at work planning events for a fun and exciting school year.
WHO WE ARE
We are an elected committee of the PTA Executive Board made up from 1 to 3 parent volunteers. Officially, as per the PTA bylaws, the Vice President or Co-Vice Presidents of Fundraising shall chair or co-chair the fundraising committee, and be responsible for planning and scheduling all fundraising events, and shall serve in accordance with Chancellor’s Regulations A-660 (Parent Associations and the Schools), A-610 (Fundraising Activities and Collections of Money from Students), and A -812 (Competitive Foods).

All fundraising plans must go through the Fundraising Committee as fundraising is done with an overreaching goal of raising funds to impact the entire school community and its ongoing philosophy, not an individual group or class. Events or programs may develop or change throughout the course of any given year as result of conversations at the fundraising meetings or decisions made with co-chairs of events.
